We keep refining our POS with updates designed to make your restaurant's daily operations easier. In this version, we focused on optimising key service flows, reinforcing system stability and polishing details based on real-world product usage.
Version 2.5.6 brings an improved sync engine, new tools to speed up everyday tasks — like address autocomplete and shift management — plus interface adjustments to make the system clearer. All designed so service flows without interruptions.
What's new
- Address autocomplete with Google Maps: Entering customer addresses is now much faster and free of typos.
- Protection against accidental exits in Fast Mode: The checkout now blocks unintentional exits while using quick mode.
- Till drafts: Save till closing drafts to come back to later, giving more flexibility in managing shifts and discrepancies.
- Integrated guides and onboarding: Product Fruits — an interactive guides tool built directly into the POS.
- Sync status visible: An indicator in the top bar shows whether the system is connected and syncing correctly.
- New sync engine: Significantly faster and more stable communication between devices and server.
- Improved shift close flow: Simplified end-of-shift process — closing out is clearer, more guided and faster.
- New end-of-day close: Gradual rollout of a completely revamped end-of-day closing system.
Bug fixes
- Fixed an issue causing the context menu to appear unexpectedly when interacting with the floor plan.
- Corrected a visual bug that was hiding the Back button on certain navigation screens.
- Resolved an issue with kitchen tickets — they now correctly display the course order and number of copies.
