Getting out of the office is always a good thing — even better when it means visiting one of the teams we work with. This time we headed to Chivuo's, a restaurant specialising in American food: burgers, sandwiches, fries, and all of it paired with top-quality craft beer. We sat down with Miguel Ron (CEO) and Alberto Vázquez (Director of Operations) from Cloudtown.
What is Cloud Town?
In short, Cloudtown is a group of different brands operating across Spain that have come together to build the country's largest digital restaurant company. To get there, they've leaned into big data and trend analysis to develop compelling delivery-only brands. This "new" business model in hospitality — known as virtual brands — has grown steadily since the delivery boom of 2020, and the outlook for these kinds of operations remains strong.
Although delivery is their core focus, they also run physical restaurants in Barcelona and Madrid where you can experience their food in person. We were lucky enough to try Chivuo's, and we can genuinely recommend it — you won't regret it.
