Hideout
Last.app lets us make changes quickly across all platforms without disrupting service or interfering with the floor team. Taking orders from mobile devices speeds everything up considerably — and gives us confidence that everything is running as it should.

When we thought the home of the smash burger was the United States, Hide Out steps up to prove that a country a little further south has something to say about it — Brazil. Today we talk with Beatriz Molinari, co-CEO and co-founder of a project that blends the familiar with the bold.
Hide Out was born in 2019 when its two co-founders arrived in Spain from Brazil with a clear ambition: to bring smash burger culture to Barcelona.
Beatriz Molinari and Lucas Pigossi share a deep love for good food and a simple, unhurried way of life. From that foundation they built their own kind of burger joint — one where every detail is considered, from the music to the service they're so proud of.

For them, the kitchen is a space for creativity — a place to explore new ideas and enjoy the process, but above all to make something genuinely good that puts a smile on their guests' faces. That starts with the product. As they put it: "We use local ingredients to prepare all our sauces, including our famous cheese sauce."
And how did Hide Out get to where it is today? The answer is in one of their slogans — one we love: WE LISTEN, WE LEARN AND WE INNOVATE.
Hide Out didn't get here by accident. It got here through consistent hard work that has allowed them to reach where they are now and set their sights even higher. It's in that innovation space where our paths crossed — and where Beatriz Molinari explains how things really work. How does Hide Out operate? How has Last.app helped? Here's what they had to say.

What did you need before working with Last.app?
We needed a system that was simple to use — no complications, no bureaucracy — and that allowed integrations with other apps and delivery platforms. We were looking for something that worked well for our daily floor operations, but also for delivery.
How has Last.app changed the day-to-day operations of the restaurant? Tell us something you'd highlight.
Because it's also an integrator, Last.app lets us make changes quickly across all platforms, which saves us time and doesn't interfere with what the waiters are doing during service. On top of that, being able to send orders from mobile devices speeds things up considerably and gives us the confidence that everything is running correctly.

Do you think the system improves the customer experience? How?
Because the interface is intuitive, it lets waiters manage orders more efficiently. That reduces wait times and improves accuracy — which means faster service and a better experience for our guests.
The hospitality industry can be resistant to digitalisation, and staff turnover is high. Do you find that your team picks up Last.app quickly?
Yes, we've seen that our team learns to use Last.app quickly. The platform is intuitive and easy to navigate, which makes adoption very straightforward.
What do you like most about working with Last.app?
It's intuitive, and being able to handle integrations directly — without depending on third parties — makes a real difference. The technical support is also fast and they're always available to help.
